You never want to keep ketchup out of the fridge cause if it gets too warm, the gases inside make it explode when you open it. Yuck. But its ok to run under warm water before you use it. It won't raise the temp too much, but will make it run our like salad dressing! It is a plastic squeeze bottle.I don't evenn remember the brand, but if this is not the brand you prefer, when it is empty, refill it with your favorite brand. Or to save even more money, buy the ketchup in a gallon can. After you open it, store in the refrigerator in large glass or plastic container. Ketchup does not spoil after opening if it is refrigerated. And you can buy a gallon for about the same money as 3 bottles.
