I have an Electrolux stainless steel fridge. The water and the ice maker have stopped working. I don't hear the water going into the fridge. The water from the main line does work. This is the second time, before I had a technician come in and he repaired it. I am not quite sure what he changed. Can some one help with what the possible culprit is?

That just happened to me. We knew the water line was working but it just wasn't making it to the refrigerator. My husband took the line leading into the fridge off and found that it was clogged. Unclogged it and now I have water and ice. Good luck.
My ice maker is no longer making ice. The water doesn't feed into the icemaker, but I get water from the dispenser. We have cleaned out the ice bin and used the hair dryer to defrost everything. Any suggestions? The refrigerator is about 5 years old.

Go online to the manufacturer's website. They should have some troubleshooting information.
<h3>RE: Water Not Getting To Fridge Ice Maker</h3>Could be your water filter has gotten stopped up and needs to be changed. (My filter is located on the very top of the refrigerator, in the right corner; it is a little larger than a soda can.) Good luck. (10/02/2008)

Water for drinks is working, but not for making ice.
My ice maker is not filling up with water. What do I do?
My Kenmore refrigerator freezer model #106.73184302, won't make ice since it was moved.
I replaced the water filter in my Kenmore Elite refrigerator. The door dispenses water, but the icemaker will not receive water or make ice.
