What Breed is My Dog?

What kind of dog is this? I adopted her from the Humane Society and I'm just curious if anyone has any input as to what she is. She's about 22-24 inches at the shoulders and weighs around 35-40 lbs. Thanks!

I used to have two basenjis. I dont think there is much resemblence there besides the short hair and ears maybe. If the hair on middle of its spine raises or has a curly tail and doesnt bark but yodels time to time, you might have some basenji genes. LOL.

I instantly thought shepherd and greyhound too. But I really wanted to tell you how strikingly beautiful she is!

No doubt a mix of greyhound and Shepard.

Yep, my first thought was Basenji, but he does have a kelpie look about him as well! at any rate, he is the most important breed of all . . . Yours! He's beautiful! Hurray for adoption!

Google 'kelpie' for some images, and you'll see her. Those lovely natural ears!

I agree, Basenji greyhound German Shepard. A little of all three. Look at this site. That is her face. She is beautiful! http://www.akc.org/breeds/basenji/

I think a shorthair Belgian Malinois mix. She is a bit smaller than that breed but everything else looks just like one.

My first thought was a greyhound mix, too! I love her long legs! Her face and ears look like a german shephard. What a cutie!
