Vacation time is here and while traveling with your young children, a rest stop isn't always available! The new plastic coffee cans make wonderful portable potties because they are wide mouthed, have a handle and a snap on lid so they can be carried with you until you find a garbage can. While I appreciate the good idea, please do not put containers of urine in the trash. They can explode and contaminate trash collectors.

Better idea, next rest stop, take the container into the restroom and dump in the sink, rinse with some water and whatever hand soap they have there (put this rinse water in toilet too) and put into the recycling containers. Recycling gets cleaned and reused, trash gets dumped, buried and never used.
