To get a head start on summer toes and hands, here is an idea you can start right now. I usually wear white socks with my gym shoes or boots and at night after my bath or shower. Whenever I have on white socks, I will slather on petroleum jelly on my feet to keep them soft. For my hands, I use the same technique, but I use the thin rubber gloves and I put only half the amount on my hands (your hands do not absorb the jelly as fast as your feet. I wear the gloves under my regular gloves, at night or when I cleaning (I can usually fit my gloves over the thinner rubber gloves) Since I change my pedicure/manicure to schedule from 1 a week to every two weeks, this helps my feet/hands stay in shape. No more rushing around when summer hits trying to get my feet/hands together.
Bonus: A 10 pack of rubber gloves cost just $1.00 at the dollar store. I can usually wear one pair of rubber gloves at least three times before reaching for a new pair.
