Stickie Quickie Bars

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 pkgs. yeast
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 cup flour

Topping:

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup nuts
  • 1 Tbsp. syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. water

Directions

Combine flour and yeast. Heat the milk, water, butter, sugar and salt until warm. Pour into yeast mixture. Add egg, beat on high of mixer for 3 minutes by hand, stir in 1-3/4 cups flour. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

Combine topping ingredients in saucepan and heat until melted. Pour into 9x13 inch pan. Stir batter down and drop by tablespoon on topping. Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes. Cool 1 minute and invert to remove from pan. Makes 24 bars.

Hi,
Thanks for noticing that. It should be 1 3/4 at the end of the ingredients list. I changed the recipe to reflect that.

The ingredients list says "3/4 c. flour" (at the end) but the directions say 1 and 3/4 cup....can you please let me know which is correct?
