I would try candles. It would be fun, soft and cheap.

I put them in a floral candle ring on a round mirror, with a pretty ribbon tied on them. Very cute.

Galvanized buckets. You can get them at craft or hardware stores. Wrap the bottle in a nice fabric napkin or cloth to complement the rest of the decor, fill the bucket with ice and the bottle. Keep it simple and elegant.

Put some of that fake bread like baguettes or French bread. You can look it up online on how to make it. It looks nice in a basket with a bottle of wine or champagne and grapes too.
