I have a lot of men's ties and want to make a skirt, but when I sew them up, they twist and are not equal. Am I doing something wrong? How do I make a skirt from ties? Thanks.

I saw a picture of a quilt once that was made from neckties. It was pretty cute. I have no idea how to do a shirt but sounds like it would be cute too.

I made one years ago, and if I remember correctly I had to use an iron on webbing to keep them from curling.

They make cute skirts, purses and such, but remember most likely the item will need to be dry cleaned.

If ypu google"making a necktie skirt", you will get a number of hits. The 2 sites I have used are instructables.com and craftster.org. Both are on the first page when you google, and have instructions for tie skirts.
