I have my children make their own lunches every evening, before supper. The lunch boxes then go in the fridge, and it's a breeze getting them out the door the next morning.
I do that for my own lunch as well. I put the "dry" ingredients closest to the bread & "wet" ingredients in the middle so the bread doesn't get soggy. With PB&J, I spread PB on both slices of bread & put the J in the middle.
