Crescent and Feta Cheese Triangle Appetizer

A tasty appetizer that is easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tomato-basil feta cheese, finely crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped green onions
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 package Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 oz. Parmesan cheese, shredded

Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, mix feta cheese, green onions and 3 Tbsp. of the beaten egg.

Unroll dough, press perforations to seal. Cut in to 2 1/2 inch squares. Top each square with rounded measuring teaspoon of feta cheese mixture. Fold dough over filling, forming triangle; press edges to seal.

Place triangles 2 inches apart on a non-greased cookie sheet. Brush tops with remaining beaten egg. Sprinkle lightly with Parmesan cheese. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Another delicious type is swiss cheese and mushroom. It might not sound good but it is delicious! I had it a very fancy restaurant one time (prom 100 yrs ago - thanks Ed!) and was hooked.
