Take a picture of it. I took this picture with my digital camera. There is a macro function and finally you can do something good with dandelion.

That's so pretty! Dandelions are excellent kid flowers. No worries about the kids picking the wrong ones or damaging the plant!

Early in the Spring when things are just getting green in the out-of-doors, pick the immature leaves. Pick lots of them.
They are great salad greens. Simmered they are one of the best eating 'greens'.
