We have two families living on the property and a very close neighbor. In the winter when the windshields get frozen and frosted over during the night, One of us goes out with a bottle of windshield washer and washes the windows for everyone. The windshield washer has to be the all weather kind and it will melt the ice immediately. We are a happy neighborhood who can all see clearly when driving on frosted mornings. The windshield washing fluid is freeze proof and will not hurt the car.

If you put it in a spray bottle, you can keep it in your vehicle. For use when you are away from home.
When you know it's going to snow, spray it on all of the windows of car. makes it much easier to get the frozen stuff off the next day.
