If you know any of his interests either a book, or a music CD would be appropriate. If you are not sure get him a nice card and put a gift card in it for Walmart (everyone ends up in Walmart at some point).
Go to a romantic place for you and him, or make him a picture book, or a "hope" ring. Lots of people get those, it's so sweet. (:<3
I'm 10 he's 11 so I just got him Candy's and a homemade card for our 1 month its on Monday
