Sour Cream Twists
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/8 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. yeast in 1/4 cup warm water
- 2 1/2-3 cups flour
Bring sour cream to a boil and add soda. Add remaining ingredients. Knead and let set for 5 minutes in a warm place. Then roll out and make twist and let set until doubled. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes. Frost, if desired. If baked in an airbake, should be in oven more like 18 minutes.
