this mostly depends on the type of style you go for. dark gold goes well with red for a classic look.
pale yellow with robin egg blue and red accents for a fifties look.
chocolate brown is fresh and contemporary.
cream white for a toille effect.

I agree with the others. Look at the realm of colors that are in the mustardy beige family. It will go beautifully.

I THINK A TAUPE/BEIGE TYPE OF COLOR WOULD LOOK REAL GOOD WITH DEEP RED. KIND OF A KHAKI COLOR
