Cleaning Varnished/Sealed Fabric?

August 30, 2015

journal coverI'm in the process of making my own art journal, and after covering the cardboard cover with fabric, I used an acrylic varnish/sealer to seal it. I was wondering what kind of cleaner would be safest to use to wipe it clean from little dirt spots, etc. without stripping the varnish. Perhaps a homemade vinegar-based cleaner?

A damp cloth with regular dish water will work fine.
