Too Busy, Mother? |
|
|
Are you too busy to help them play?
Too busy to hear them what they say?
Are you too busy to watch them swing?
Too busy to hear the songs they sing?
If you're too busy except to scold,
They may be too busy when you grow old.

Who wrote this? I copied it. This is so true! I'm glad I left the work to go out side & have tea & peanut butter & jelly sandwiches with my girls. I hope they won't be too busy as I am old. Thanks, Corita
RE: Too Busy, Mother?
Life is too short to waste on doing house chores, chores wont remember if they were done or not but our children will remember us being to busy.
I have learned this even though my children are grown and out of the house My death sentence is closer than we all thought If I had to go back to the times when I would tell them I cant play right now I have to do the dishes the laundry clean the house all of those things would of been put to the side because those things will get done soon enough. But once you lose those precious times with your children you can never get them back
