The Germ-X worked on my glasses (I used a generic brand of alcohol hand sanitizer ) I had to rub pretty hard at the risk of further scratching to get the Lens CPR off though. My advice is don't use Lens CPR. It left an awful film on my glasses.

I had the same problem, was able to remove the material from my lens by rubbing on germ-x. Suggest you all do the same. It works.

that stuff DOES NOT WORK. It changes the lens on a molecular
level and there is NOTHING you can do to save them.
My hubby is a chemist and I did the same thing years ago.
Phone the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and maybe a CONSUMER
ADVOCACY GROUP can have your glasses replaced...
other than that you are out of luck.
sorry. :-S

What is Lens CPR?

Editor's Note: It is an infomercial product that is supposed to repair scratched eyeglass lenses.
