Make a Bib from an Old Shower Curtain Liner

Got an old shower curtain liner? Make baby bibs with it and save big! After sterilizing with diluted bleach, cut a rectangle slightly longer than would fit your baby depending on age, with a slight dip on the top edge for the neck. Flip up two extra inches to make a "crumb catcher." Now sew bias tape around the edges, leaving about 4 extra inches of bias tape on each edge of the neck for tie strings. It's much easier than it sounds!

Shower curtain liners cost 1.98. They might be made of plastic that should not be in close contact with your baby's skin. I think it might be better to use something else. When we shower we don't really touch the curtain that much. A lot has been written about the chemicals used in these curtains and many people are going to the fabric ones because of it.
