Mexican Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self rising corn meal
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can (16 oz) cream style corn
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 6 hot peppers, optional

Directions

Mix together first four ingredients. Add remaining ingredients and mix together. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes in a greased large skillet or 9x13 inch baking dish.
