- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 tsp. oregano powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 1 loaf party rye or pumpernickel bread
Brown sausage and ground chuck and drain. Add the oregano, garlic, and cheese, cooking until the cheese is melted. Place a heaping teaspoonful of the mixture onto each bread slice. Freeze on cookie sheet. When ready to serve bake at 300 degrees F for 15 minutes. Serves 16.
