Today's Recipes
Cream an 8 ounce package of cream cheese with crushed oreo cookies (I prefer mint); form into balls and refrigerate until firm; melt chocolate almond bark. With a toothpick, pierce the oreo ball and dip into the melted almond bark; place on waxed paper until dry; you can sprinkle them while wet the with almond bark with candy sprinkles or roll in coconut.

Pretzels - Kids LOVE making these!
Ingredients
Directions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Empty the package of yeast into a big bowl, and pour in the water. Leave for about 5 minutes. Add the salt, sugar and flour to the yeast and stir well. Form the dough into a ball with your hands. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it's smooth and stretchy. Divide dough into 24 balls and roll into thin sticks. Twist sticks. Grease some large cookie sheets and put the pretzels on them. Space them out well. Brush pretzels with a little egg and sprinkle with salt. Ask an adult to put them in the oven for 20 minutes.

Ingredients
Directions
Combine milk, butter, sugar and salt; stir to mix. Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast and stir well. Add eggs, then gradually add enough flour to make a soft dough. Cover and let rise. When double, divide dough into thirds. Roll each third into a 9 inch circle. Brush with melted butter. Cut each circle into 12 wedges. Roll each wedge, starting with wide end and rolling to point. Arrange on greased baking pan with the point underneath so it won't unroll. Let rise until very light. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees F.
