Uses for a CD Stand

I recently bought a CD stand at a yard sale thinking my DVD movies would fit, but they didn't. What are some other uses I can use it for?

Use it as a trellis for a climbing plant next summer.

My husband gutted some of the shelves and is using it as a display for HO trains.

We use our shelf-type ones as narrow shelves - we have one on either side of the toilet tank to squeeze more storage room into the bathroom. You could make shelving out of yours by adding cardboard bottoms for the wire stand - (Or any other suitable material). I have CD stands with wicker shelves I use for book storage, too. Nice skinny shelving.

perfect for tiny beanie baby animal collections
using it for kids small shoe storage
roll up your wash clothes and storage or dish towels
spice rack
sewing patterns displayed
greeting cards and envolopes stored
my favorite "use each block as a shadow box display with a theme in mind"

The wire-style stands make GREAT earring holders. In fact, I sell jewelry and use them for sales displays. Depending on the design, you can also use them to sort and organize mail and bills.

I forgot to add it's not a shelf. It's more like a metal stand.

I have mine in the kitchen and use it for canned goods.
