I would like to know why Smooth Away says diabetics should not use it?

Diabetics shouldn't get infections - they are slow to heal (hence you hear of amputations with diabetics frequently). The Smooth Away is like sandpaper & could cause small tears/nicks in your skin that could possibly become infected.
