I wish there could be job listings on this website. The other sites will send you emails about jobs you have no interest in or that are too far to travel. I feel it would be very useful if people could view jobs that are actually around the area that they may live.

For part time jobs, I'v fond http://PartTimeJobs.BestCareerlinks.com to be very helpful. Once you select the type job you're looking for, and fill out a brief profile, you can sign up for email alerts based on job criteria that you specify (including location).

I found a great job thru Monster.com. I submitted my resume and received notices, but I also occassionally searched their site using different words to describe the job I was looking for. For example instead of just Supervisor, I looked under team leader, manager, etc.

Another thing I did was, when they sent me a job, I checked out that companies website for employment opportunities, that's actually how I found my job so close to home. Hope this helps
