Sausage Balls

  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 2 cup Bisquick
  • 1 lb. extra sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

Mix by hand. Form into small balls. Put on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees F until done, 20-25 minutes. Makes 50-55. Freezes very well.

what do you do with them? how do you serve them? wouldn't they be greasy with the cheese and sausage which both have a high fat content?

I've had these - they're YUMMY! But the recipe I was given called for some onion powder, too.

Of course, they are greasy; I usually put them on a paper towel lined bowl or something like that for serving - they make wonderful appetizers that go very quickly.
