Ink on a Matte Finish Wall

How do you get ink off a matte finish wall?

I would try placing a paper towel over it and spraying it with hairspray. Blotting not rubbing. Doing this lightly, several times till it's gone.

Wet a papertowel or a sponge and put a little household ammonia on it. Wipe very lightly, scrubing it too hard can take off your paint.
