This is most likely sweat/oils/grease from your hands, which has caused this. This can be quite an expensive problem to fix.
You could use a colourant kit - http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Colourant_Kit.htm
However, inorder for a product like this to be sucessful, a colour match would be necessary and a sample of leather would need to be sent to Furniture Clinic for matching.
You could also have them restore it for you, or source a local leather restoration company to you.
