Swap Books

My solution to buying or selling books is to swap your books for another book, CD or DVD. This helps to lessen the carbon footprint, and you get an item that you want! There are a few swap sites that you should check into, such as swap.com

I have also had good results selling and swapping books with used book stores. Some stores will swap a certain number of books for the ones you want. Some will give you store credit and some very nice ones will also give you cash. My best cash sales were from books that were hard bound, had their dust jackets intact and clean and were not book club books indicated by having a cash price printed on the inside flap of the dust jacket.

Also certain subjects were popular - science fiction, local authors, mysteries and historical/biographical, cook books, and/or rare books in excellent condition.
