Awesome dip/spread for anytime.
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) mild yellow cheese
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) sharp yellow cheese
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) white cheese
- 1 8 oz pkg. cream cheese room temp
- 1 16 oz sour cream
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. of Dukes/Sauers mayonnaise (other types tend to change taste)
- 1 medium finely minced onion
- minced jalapenos (as you like - 2 or 3 usually)
- few dashes of Texas Pete hot sauce (as much as you like)
- black pepper (as much as you like)
- Cayenne pepper (as much as you like)
Directions:
Put all ingredients in bowl and mix until creamy consistency.
Return to fridge to kinda let the cheeses firm up.
Serve with just about any kind of crackers although Captains' Wafers or equivalent are best.
You can also use to make sandwiches (I do). Cool thing about this recipe is that you can add more or less of anything of the ingredients and it doesn't really change the flavor or texture.
Watch out this stuff is addictive. LOL
