This is a different way to have your oatmeal.
- 1 unpeeled apple, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 tsp. finely grated lemon rind
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2/3 cup oats
- 1 1/2 cup water
Place apple with banana and lemon rind in a blender and process on low until smooth. Place fruit sauce in a medium saucepan with yogurt, oats, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 5-10 minutes until oats are creamy.
