When wrapping any type of gifts, especially at Christmas time, a roll of Scotch double sided tape is a wise investment. It is easier, and faster to wrap the gifts, and the packages are more attractive, since no tape is visible on top of the paper or ribbons.

Guys! Does it really matter? Is the earth going to shift off its access if the tape shows? BTW, we put ribbons on gift packages because once upon a time, before tape was invented, ribbons kept the paper on a gift.

Have you tried a glue stick? It also conseals the seam and is quick. You can also add tape where you need a strong seal.

When I wrap packages I use regular scotch tape and fold it into thirds, sticky side out, and use that as double faced tape.
