Replacement Cuffs for a Jacket or Sweater

I wear rib topped anklets (socks) every day, and I usually wear them completely out. I use the rib topping for replacement cuffs on jackets and sweaters. On a white double knit jacket I used pink. Then cut small hearts out of the top of the stocking and appliqued them on the pockets. You could use various colors together for another look. It looks like a new jacket! If you knit you could use them for the cuffs and just turn them back.

They're also good socks for glasses & canned or bottled drinks . & my Mo mad doll clothes out of some . She just pulled them up the small dolls til she found the right spot for arm holes. Cut slits, buttonhole stitched around so they wouldn't run & Voila.
