Christmas Light Lanterns for Outdoor Wedding

What runs through my mind would be to start saving your empty jars. Soak in hot, soapy water to remove labels and glue then encircle some wire right under the rim at the top and then form a handle and run the ends of the handle underneath the wire around the rim, vary the lengths of the handles if you wanted. Maybe fill the bottoms of each jar with those little craft stones you can get at Walmart or any craft store and nestle a votive candle in the center and light, then hang on branch of tree. Of course, the branch is going to have to be sturdy enough to withhold the weight of jar! But I think at night with the glow of the candle against that glass, it would really be pretty and cheap!
