See's candy gift certificates can be bought from some charitable groups, in the stores, or online. These are nice to have on hand and to give as gifts because they don't have any expiration date! Even if the See's price per pound goes up, the gift certificate is still good for 1 pound or so. I sometimes will go into See's with a gift certificate and pick out 2 half-pound boxes of just my favorites when I need a lift.

I think your best bet is to start a phone call or email campaign to find out why. Here is their email and 800# - custserv@sees.com 1-800-347-7337

It looks like a big part of their promotion is their fundraising sales. Maybe if enough fundraisers complain they will give you the same price or discount so you can still sell yours for less.

We have a fundraiser every year and sell See's candy. We sell it for 70 cents less than Sees stores and deliver it. However now Sees has made some kind of deal with Costco and you can buy gift certificates there for $9.50 for a 1 lb box. This is less than Sees sells them to us a non profit service club that uses the revenue to fund our many charitable causes. This is rotten of See's! Any comments?
