Save long skinny plastic bags or tubes of plastic, because they have many uses. I just stapled the folded-over end of a sturdy plastic tube to make an extra eyeglass case and I have used the long skinny bags to hold my flutes/recorders!

Keep them in your handbag and use them for your wet umbrella on rainy days!
Just a word of caution. Never put food in a plastic bag that is not made for food. It could be toxic.
I use them to put shoes in when packing to travel keeps clothes clean. Mary lou
