30th Wedding Anniversary
Traditional Gifts: Pearl
Modern Gifts: Diamond

Pearl, kinda sparks an under the sea theme doesnt it? If you really want to be creative, but for something more traditional check the party stores they tend to carry a lot for anniversaries.
If possible, a slide show or a movie about the couples life is nice, or if they didn't get a big wedding the first go around, then maybe they would like to renew their vows? Or it might be fun to recreate the year that they met, make it a 70's theme, if it's not too formal. A Backyard BBQ maybe.
