Cool Neck When Throat Is Sore

The solution I will propose will look very odd, but it works every time. A sore throat is an "inflammatory state of the throat". To calm it down, you must not put on any scarf, turtle neck, or any other warm device which increase the heat. Instead, wrap around the neck a towel dipped into cold water (not icy water, just cold from the tap).

When the towel gets warm, dip it again in cold water. The aim is to keep the neck cold (only the neck). Keep on doing this for at least 15 minutes. The soreness should decrease and even disappear.

Do not take any antibiotic, but do take two soft gel caps of oregano, a powerful, natural antibiotic, per day for 4 to 5 days.

My son, who has allergies, often had a sore throat. Each time I did that solution, it worked every time, without any side effects, not even a cold!

To facilitate the wrapping of the towel around the neck and to avoid dripping of water along the chest, my son would lay down on his back on the kitchen table, with another dry towel under his head to catch any dripping.

Great tip! I'm going to share it with my daughter. She is very much against using antibiotics with her sons, so she will like to try this tip, I'm sure!

This sounds like a very interesting suggestion and a reason to check out my local natural-food store once again.
