For the new bride, along with a card or gift, also give a recipe card with an easy dish. The new bride (and of course the groom) will appreciate an easy dinner idea.

In November of last year I gave a wedding shower for a special Niece.I purchased beautiful embossed Recipe cards and included one in each invitation with a request that they fill it out with a favorite recipe and return it to the shower to help her start a recipe collection. As a gift she got a nice recipe box to hold them.I think that is a helpful gesture to a new Bride learning to cook.
