Pineapple-Braised Pork Chop
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 lbs. boneless pork chops
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 Tbsp. ginger
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar
Cook pork and onions. When almost done, remove from pan. Mix remaining ingredients into pan and cook. Replace chops and onions into pan and cook 5 minutes flipping 3 times to coat both sides.
Suggestion: serve with sweet potato fries.
