Aspirin for Dandruff

Take any inexpensive shampoo and into the bottle drop between 6-10 aspirins, depending on the size of the bottle. That's it the aspirins will eventually dissolve (overnight) and you will have an extremely cheap dandruff shampoo!

Editor's Note: I am always hesitant to recommend re-purposing medication. Is anyone else familiar with this?

Yes this works. Actually better than most dandruff shampoos and husband can use his favorite kind of shampoo also. tk##

My husband's expensive dandruff shampoo contains salicylic acid. Aspirin is acetyl salicylic acid, so it should work.
