RE: Peanut Butter Fudge

Robin, here in Ohio we call these "Buckeyes" because Ohio is known as the Buckeye State. They are delicious. When we dip them in chocolate, we don't cover them completely, we leave a bit of the peanut butter showing and they look just like buckeyes that we get off the trees. They're especially popular in the fall when we have a huge rival football game between Ohio and Michigan. Thanks for sharing. (12/11/2009)

Great Fudge

  • 2 cups for Sugar
  • 2/3 cup of Milk
  • 1 cup of Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 8 oz Marshmallow Fluff
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
Mix Fluff, PB and Vanilla in warm metal bowl. Mix sugar and milk in large sauce pan and bring to boil. Soft ball stage 234- 238 degrees F. Remove from heat. Let cool to 175 F before mixing with fluff, pb and vanilla. Beat until mixture becomes dull. Pour into buttered 6 x 10 pan. The temperature of the mixture will determine the consistency of the fudge. At 234, the fudge will be softer, at 238, the fudge will be firmer. (03/09/2007)

RE: Easy Peanut Butter Fudge

This Peanut Butter Fudge recipe is super simple and came from the craft store, AC Moore.

Melt one bag of chocolate melts, one bag of vanilla melts, and one cup of peanut butter. Pour the mixture in a glass baking dish and cool. Cut into squares.

Fancy Version:

Pour a layer of melted chocolate, then the melted peanut butter and finally another layer of chocolate.

For swirls, run a knife through to make designs. (07/22/2009)

RE: Easy Peanut Butter Fudge

(format_html) This is the easiest, fastest and most delicious fudge.

Ingredients and Directions

Put one 12 ounce bag of Reese's peanut butter chips in a glass bowl, spread them out so that they are not all in the middle of the bowl and they will melt easier. Cook in microwave for 1 and 1/2 minutes. Take out and stir, then stir in one can vanilla frosting (not whipped), stir really well and put back in microwave and cook for 1 and 1/2 minutes. Take out, add 1 teaspoon vanilla and pinch of salt, and stir. Put in a 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch buttered pan. Cool in refrigerator for 20 minutes, cut and eat.

More variations of Fudge, you may add:

  • 1/2 - 1 cup of chopped nuts to any of the variations
  • Chocolate chips/chocolate frosting (this is for the die-hard chocolate-lovers)
  • Peanut Butter chips/chocolate frosting (tastes like Reese's Peanut Butter Cup
  • Chocolate chips/vanilla frosting (not as chocolately)
  • Mint chocolate chips/chocolate frosting (tastes like Andes mint)
  • Cherry chips/chocolate frosting (tastes like a chocolate covered cherry)
  • Vanilla chips/any flavor frosting
  • Milk chocolate chips/coconut
  • pecan frosting
Walmart seems to have all the different kinds of chips, in the baking aisle.

RE: Easy Peanut Butter Fudge

This recipe is so much fun and so easy to make that my husband made 12 batches of it to give out for Christmas to friends. He used his imagination and made many different kinds. My favorite was the coconut fudge. For this one, he used white chocolate chips, vanilla frosting, 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring, and about 3/4 cup of coconut. It was fabulous.

He saved the frosting mix containers, covered them with Christmas wrap and filled them with an assortment of the fudge, and popped a stick-on bow on the lid. This is something even the kids could do. (12/16/2006)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cup peanut butter

Directions:

In a pot, bring sugar and milk to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Add peanut butter and marshmallow cream. Stir till well combined and pour into a buttered pan. Chill till firm.

Yield: Makes 3 dozen

What I like to do to make easy clean up is to line a pan with aluminum foil instead of having to butter the pan. (12/28/2008)

This one is by far the easiest and it's dairy free. I get a lot of compliments from this, it tastes a lot like the inside of a Reese Peanut Butter Cup.

That was the recipe on the website - we make a few changes in it to suit our tastes (and budget) We use 12 ounces of white baking chips in place of the squares and we don't add the peanuts - we like smooth peanut butter fudge. Also - we just "cook" it in the microwave. Combine the sweetened condensed milk, peanut butter and white chocolate chips in a microwave safe dish. Microwave until smooth, stirring every couple of minutes. Add vanilla and stir very well. Pour into a well butter square pan and cool. The best part? YUMMY - eating it! (11/09/2004)

Marshmallow Fudge

Use the Kraft marshmallow cream and follow the recipe on the jar. We like to add pecans and LOTS of peanut butter in place of the chocolate it calls for. Vary the peanut butter to get the amount that pleases you. Add extra vanilla or butterscotch for a variety. (11/09/2004)

Favorite Peanut Butter Fudge

  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts, optional
Mix sugar, salt, syrup and milk in pan. Bring to boil slowly. Cook until small amount forms soft ball in cold water, about 234 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat, add peanut butter and vanilla. Do not stir. Cool to lukewarm then beat just until creamy, losing gloss and beginning to hold shape. Stir in nuts if used. Easy and Delicious

My step-mom gave me this recipe, and it's the only peanut butter fudge that my husband will eat now. It's easy to make and delicious!
  • 2 Cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cup peanut butter (I use crunchy)
  • 1 7oz. jar of marshmallow cream

In a sauce pan, bring sugar and milk to a boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Turn fire off, add peanut butter and marshmallow. Mix well. Pour into 8" buttered pan (I use Pam). Chill until set and cut into squares.

This fudge is very rich and tasty! Just make sure you mix it real good or it won't set correctly. Enjoy! (11/12/2004)
