Recycle Expired Credit Cards as Dish Scraper

I found that expired gift cards or any credit card no longer used is excellent for cleaning dishes in your kitchen. It kinda molds to the dish, pot, or pan you are cleaning and scrapes all the gunk off. It is excellent for my cast iron skillet. The card gets into grooves and even gets burned debris off easily. It won't scratch or mar anything you use it on. I just run the card through the dishwasher when it gets gunky.

Tip: Recycle Expired Credit Cards as Dish Scraper

Use an expired credit card as a scraper while washing dishes. It easily removes stuck on food without marking the dish or pan. I also use the no-name promotional cards that I get in the mail from the credit card companies. As long as they're plastic, they will work.

They also work great for scraping gum off floors, dried glue, hardened candies etc. You can also punch holes in them and use them as large key tabs for kids, zipper pulls, luggage tags etc. With a little sanding, they are also easily paintable. (01/08/2008)
