I have and so far I am not impressed with it.
you have to follow a diet in which you cannot go over the amount of fat calories or total calories for the day or you could suffer treatment affects.you tend to have a lot of bowl movements which are looser and they tell you you might get a little sore from frequent bm's
with following their plan in which you diet, exercise and drink lots of water you would lose weight anyway without adverse affects

Betty: I have not tried Alli yet, but my doctor has encouraged me to. I am about 100 lbs over weight. Alli works in your gut, not in your brain or your blood, so there are not the usual side effects.

It is not a miracle drug though. You have to be committed to a low-fat diet when you are on Alli. I will probably be on it by the end of the month. It is very reasonable at Wal-Mart.

I am currently using the Ali. My mother got me to using it as she lost 4 lbs her first week of using it and 3 lbs on her second week of using it. I also am having more frequent bm s and they are somewhat looser but for me that is a good thing. Also I am noticing a much increased gas incidence. I have high hopes but so far cannot say I have lost any but has only been 3 days. I am at a point where I knew I HAD to do something. I, like my mother, have not changed my diet. Only added much more water. I will let you know after a couple of weeks.

There is a tea in the grocery/health food store that sounds like it pretty much does the same thing, with the same side effects.
Laci LeBeau.
Am not too sure about the spelling.

I thought it was just plain ol' flavored tea.
Ha! Eventually figured it out.

I am 25 years old and I am 50 pounds over weight. I tried it for a week. I didn't lose any weight. I make popo in my pants 3 times. I hate it, it's not good. I hope I can return it and get my money back.

I am so impressed by it. I have been using it for only a week now, and have lost a total of 7 pounds. I have also followed a strict diet, and exercise but the Alli is adding to the weight loss for sure.

I have been on Alli for about 3 weeks and have lost about 12 pounds! The side affects are not great but what can you say for something that really works! I also have Thyroid Disease and couldn't lose weight but now i am! The only thing I am worried about is my period has not came and I am not pregnant and I have noticed this is a problem for a lot of women!

I have not changed my daily activity so I know it's not that. Someone from Alli needs to do a research study on this because no matter what you say it is happening.I want to continue Alli but how can you if you don't know if it is affecting your body. Beware, you may be messing with your fertility!

Alli is amazing! I finished my first year of college last may and I had gained a ton of weight. I started the summer out on Alli and I have lost a total of 35 lbs since, what I like about this pill is that you can exercise and eat healthy and it helps you, or you can eat unhealthy, and you still lose weight! Yes you have to deal with losing it in your pants sometimes, but it is so worth it to me to look like i did my senior year of high school! I am so happy with this pill and i continue to lose weight every day. It is truly a miracle.

I decided to take Alli to get ready for New Years in Vegas.I did my research but nothing warned about what was going to happen.

I did lose about 15lbs in a short amount of time (about a month) but in the end I don't think it was worth the stomach pains, bloating, and gas I got every time I ate, even if it was a small meal with little fat.

On the night of my birthday I went out to dinner with my bf and had a shrimp pasta dish. After that my friends took me out to party. I ended up drinking and getting a bit drunk. I slept at my friends house and I woke up next to my friend with s**** on my skirt and all over my friend's bed. This was the most humiliating thing that ever happened to me because there were about 5 of my closest friends in the same room.

It came with no warning if I had been warned about not drinking and taking Alli at least I would of had an idea to make sure to take precaution. I'll never forget what happened to me and I'm writing to warn people to think twice before taking this pill. Although it's embarrassing to talk about what happened I think it's important to warn people of the side effects this pill has and what GSK won't advertise or warn their consumers.

In the end I don't think it's worth taking this pill since it causes a lot of discomfort and you won't be able to live a normal life sine you'll be worrying about the horrible side effects. I've stopping taking the pill and a month later I still have discomfort and I my stomach hasn't gotten back to normal. The stomach cramps were so painful when I went to the club I couldn't dance close to my bf since it would cause him to press on my stomach. This pill is only good for short term but in the end it's not worth the pain and embarrassment.Hope this helps!

I am over 100 lbs overweight and tried this product, I still have about 3 bottles of it but am scared to continue using it. I was on it for a few weeks, I don't know if I lost weight for sure but I think I did lose a little. I wasn't weighing myself but my clothes felt a little looser. HOWEVER, I had the problems others described and it is NO SMALL MATTER. Over the first week or so I didn't have these problems and even though I read about them I thought they were overstated. Then one day I get up off of my couch which has light beige upholstery and there was this huge orange/brown stain! I was wearing a pair of sweats but this went right through them! It sucked! My couch was ruined because this is not really poop which might clean up, this is just fat and oil from food passing through your body, so they are oily stains. The same thing kept happening to me, it happened on my bed, it happened in various pants of mine and even stained the back of my shirt tails if my shirt was tucked in, etc. You can't stop it because you won't even know its happening, you don't feel anything. It just slips out. I was lucky that during those weeks I didn't have much in the way of social engagements or things like that so I didn't have to be embarrassed by it.

I have been on Alli since end of august 2007. It is great i went from a size 12 to an 8. I only had the side effect 2 times, as i didn't pay attention to the fat i was eating. I do go to a curves style gym only 3 days a week and no more than 30 minutes. The main thing is watch the fat and you will succeed, don't and you will see that bad effect. I eat more now 3 times a day and before Alli 1 time a day. I do not consider this a diet but a better way of living. Also when you do decide to stop taking the Alli it will continue to reject the excess consumed fat for a few weeks. By then you are already programmed to what your fat intake.

I have been on it for two weeks. It is very easy to do. I had a few of the side affects the first couple of days but not much since. I've never had anything uncontrolable. This could happen I hear if you eat too much fat. I lost 8 lbs the first week and I feel real good this week also. Will weigh in two days and find out how much more I've lost.

Personally I think its great. I had TE once when I ate pizza, but I kind of expected that to happen. I lost about 10 lbs the first month I used it. Funny thing was I thought it was not working for me because I did not experience severe TE. BUT I follow the diet and consume minimal amounts of fat.

I have noticed on this post that the people complaining about the TE effects are the people who are NOT following the low-fat diet. The one young lady that complained after eating a shrimp dinner at a restaurant then went out drinking only had herself to blame. Why in the world would you take Alli, then consume a high fat meal and then go out drinking? There does not need to be a warning about Alli and drinking- it should be common sense! Duh, drinking impairs your ability to function- all functions including bodily functions! I must say though I was quit amused by that story as was my husband.

LOL, Alli's new label: Do not take Alli, then eat a high fat meal, then go out drinking because not only are you guaranteed to end up pooping your pants but you may poop your freinds bed, furniture, the bar stool your clothes... DUH!

I just purchased Alli just yesterday, I'm already affraid to use it. It cost me 40 bucks, and I don't want to waste my money. But at the same time I'm also like others tired of being overweight. I never had issues with my weight until the birth of my second child, I gained 50 pounds and that brougt me to 180 or more.

I used Alli for two-weeks and only lost one pound. The one pound loss was more likely from following the lower fat diet.

I used Alli for about a month and lost about 5 lbs. the thing is I gained them back plus 2 more the first week I stopped taking them. I few things you should know. I only wanted to lose 10 lbs. I wasn't overweight.. never been in fact and had been 140 lbs for over a year (I am 5'7"). I don't eat out and just because my mom always provided us healthy foods I grew up liking to eat that way... in my opinion just as most pills Alli don't work, what does work is the fact that you are making changes in your diet.. Do not waste you money.. I just keep wondering what will happen to those people who have lost weight when they stop taking the pills and continue with their old eating habits.

I bought Alli for $55.00 and gained 25 lbs because I ate everything thinking that I would just pass it. WRONG! I went back to my own healthy eating and have to date lost 70 lbs.

Save your money and just cut down on the calories and walk. Walk. Walk.

I've been using alli for a month and i've lost 5 lbs.. and my clothes are feeling looser. I haven't followed the strict diet and still have managed to loose inches. The side effects are not fun if you do eat fatty food, but Im learning slowly to eat healthier if I dont want to have an accident in my pants. A thing people may want to do is if they do eat something fatty, just wear a maxy pad and you wont ruin your clothes, sofas, or other things.

I didn't like this product either. It made my stomach hurt. I made sure that I only ate the amount of fat it says you are supposed to have per meal and I still had side effects. I don't think this product agrees with my digestive system. I have a friend that is taking Hydroxycut and she has done well with that. I think that if you follow the diet plan with this product, exercise and maybe take something to get your metabolism going you will loose just as much weight without taking Alli. I talked to a guy that works in a GNC Store and he said that most people when they stopped taking this product said they gained almost all the weight back in no time flat. He said most people agreed Hydroxycut was the best thing to use and it is also less expensive. I think my next move will be hydroxycut.

I used alli and didnt like the way it made me feel. I had side effects even after making sure I did not go over 12 grams each meal. I had the same problem as another guest said, gas, bloating, stomach discomfort, even though I stayed under the suggested fat grams per meal. I had side effects for two days after I stopped taking alli. I had gas, yellow poo, a bloated feeling...yuck. I only took two pills per day so it was not like I took too many or something. I would not suggest this if you have a sensitive stomach.

I bought Alli from www.naturallyhealthyone.com and lost almost 15lbs in about 4 weeks. I had no side effects. I felt great.

I was also on a diet and going to the gym 4 days a week doing cardio for about a half hour each day to burn some of the energy.

IN A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT AND DEVELOP A HEALTHIER EATING HABIT, I TRIED ALLI. FOR 30 DAYS I WAS TRUE TO THE DIET PLAN FOR THE MOST PART. POOPY PANTIES DURING THE FIRST WEEK AND LOST ONLY 2LBS IN ONE MONTH. I HAVE ANALYZED SOME COMMON SENSE, THAT IF YOU ARE FOLLOWING A LOW FAT DIET, WITH PLENTY OF WATER AND A MINIMUM WORK OUT OF SOME SORT, YOU WILL LOSE JUST AS MUCH WEIGHT 'WITHOUT ALLI'. IT MAY WORK FOR SOME, BUT NOT ME.

Does anyone know if I will be able to take a diruetic with Alli? I have taken Alli for 3 days now and have experienced minimal TE's. I really hope this product works for me.

starting weight: 176

30-day goal: 170

I'll keep you posted!!!

Actually some mild treatment effects for the first week, but mostly gassy, which has subsided. What have noticed is really heavy periods since taking Alli. Alli is the only thing I'm doing differently. I also noticed I couldn't think straight for the first week. If you're going to take Alli, remember it isn't JUST affecting your digestive tract. It's in your blood stream & we really don't know what else its affecting.

Obviously people, if you read up on it and KNOW you are going to have "leakage" and I'm reading all about how people are ruining pants and their bed sheets and couching... RIDICULOUS. I'm havng those problems but like you all, I was warned about it...and read up on it. And just wear a Maxi pad and when you feel it run to the bathroom... UNTIL you can get yoru fat diet under control enough to not have that unexspected stuff...then you may only have to wear a pad when you KNOW you are going ot eat a fatty food. Or if you're doing well and have been on it for a littel bit no harm in not taking it once just so you can not experience the unexspectedness. It's ont garenteed to happen forever, and for everyone. If it is happeneing you you... I would thin even if if ididn't happen to you I couldn't imagine not trying alli without having a pad on! gosh, ew. Common sence, if your experimenting with the product you may not know how it is going ot effect you. Therefor take all precautions. If it doesn't work, it may not be for you, or you just can't stick to a diet and exersize regimin with the alli. It's not saying eat carrots and go run a mile, no. It's just saying if your gonna go eat mcDonals exspect to go to the bathrooom like a maniac, YEAH. Becuase that's that SIDE EFFECTS. Quite frankly i think this product is amazing. It's FDA approved because it goes right to your digestive track. It doesn't effect your heart like hydroxicut and all those other weight loss pills which make them more dangerous. They cuase anixety and stuff. This one just is for digestive track. Seperates the fat and lets you poop out all the bad. Hey, it's pretty good. Everyones looking for an easy way out. Well there really isn't one. It doesn't matter how you got to be this way, either way your this way and obviously we all need to do somethign about it. And there is NO miricle pill out there that is going ot work for everyone and not have ANY side effects without diet and exersize... It's ridiculous. Products liek these are to HELP you. Get you modivated. To do a minimal of those things and to exspect this to help kick in the other stuff that you are doing. It's not exspecting you to hit hte gym or not eat. And it doesn't have deathly side effects for your heart or body.
If you can't handle the stomach stuff and don't want to get a pad.
tthan don't use this product.
But i garentee you your not gonna get anywhere in life with an attitude that you can just sit back and wait for a miricle pill or surgery.
...reality cheak.
And i'm not trying to be rude, because believe me i was where everyone was on here was, once. But it starts with you and that is the truth...

My husband & I both took Ali for over 3 months. I dieted & exercised, he didn't change anything. Neither of us lost a single pound. The stuff is not inexpensive either. Don't waste your money. We did experience the loose stools but more importantly, we had bad headaches when we quit.
