Marking The Right Side Of Fabric
I use safety pins to mark the right side of material when it's hard to tell because straight pins will fall out. This saves time and I know at a glance which side is which!

I mark the back of the material with either chalk if it's a dark fabric or if a light material you can always mark it with thread of a contrasting color.
