| Halloween Yard Decorations |
Time: 2+ hours total
Supplies
- Old coconuts (or for other parts of the country you could use gourds)
- acrylic/latex paint (we just used paint we had in the garage left over from another project...any color will do!, plus you'll need black paint for the faces)
- sticks or PVC pipes (anything that will stand up in the ground. We got old bamboo from a neighbor's yard)
- a drill
Instructions
Drill large hole in bottom of coconut (or gourd) and drain out any liquid.
Paint half the coconut/gourd with a base coat of any color paint. Let dry and then paint on the faces in black.
Put coconut/gourd on a stick and press firmly in your yard.
Make as many as you want! It's easy and fun and the neighbors love it!
