Multifunction (All-In-One) Printer Reviews

Multifunction Printers, Which is the best to buy? This is for home use. I don't need the top of the line. I'd like a Printer, Scanner and copier.

I own a all in on by Lexmark. I bought it in 2003 and I use it every day to do all that it offers. I have never had any problem with it, and I use it to the full extent.

I also have a hp all-in-one and mine faxes, too. Another good thing about hp is that every time you change out the cartridge you have a new and clean print head, which is good for having a clean print every time. I will only have a hp.

Had a Lexmark printer years ago. It came bundled with a computer we'd purchased. Wish I'd never owned it. I learned the hard way to always check on the price of new cartridges before buying a printer.

I have an HP copier/scanner/fax/printer and love it! It prints everything, including photos, beautifully.

I'm very very happy with our HP printer. Daughter uses it every day. This is the easiest printer and printer cartridge to fill with ink from a kit. I can get about 3-4 or more fillings with the ink kit for something like $ 30.00 . Last printer was an HP too, still worked but I ran out of ink from the kit and the cartridges wore out so would have had to buy both, ink and cartridges. Instead for $100.00 bought a new printer, and another ink kit.

Very Very Happy with it, It is on the first refilling.

I've been refilling cartridges many many years ( more than 10 ) Wouldn't have it any other way.

The cheapest way to go.

we bought a Hewlett Packard Printer scanner copier ( HP PSC1410v) that works great AND the cartridges are only $15 for B&W and $22 for color!! We have used it for over a year!

I have had my HP all in one for about 10 years and it is still working like a champ!

We've had a lexmark and an espon and they were awful. I have an HP at home and another one in my classroom and they are great.

You can cut down on ink usage in any printer if you select "Fast draft" or whatever the lowest print quality is. And don't expect to print a lot of pictures on your printer. If you print more than just a few here and there, you're better off taking the digital pictures to Walmart or Ritz Camera. It's cheaper to print them there than buy a new color cartridge every time.

I bought a HP Deskjet F3000 series, from Walmart for $47.99. I works great. It has a scanner, copier and printer. I has buttons for plain paper, photo paper, # of copies, black copies and colored copies.
The ink is in the same range as all the other inks.
I comes with a CD that can many different sizes of pictures, takes out red eye, can flip a photo to many things to mention.

Do not buy a Brother. The ink may be cheaper but the problems you can have with them greatly out-weigh the ink. I would Google any unit I was interested in and read the forums on the printer. I was having a problem with my MFC3220 and found a bunch of the Brother models have the same problem and it costs more to fix it than to buy a new unit. I will be doing a lot more research before I get my next multifunction unit.

I have an hp psc 2410xi photosmart all-in-one; printer, fax, scanner, and copier. I really like it and have never had a problem with it. Ink cartridges (one color and one black) run about $28 to $32 at Walmart. I like it because I am not very computer literate and it is very simple to operate.

Honestly it's not really the printer to spend too much time thinking about, it's the ink! Find a decent priced printer, any thing you find at walmart or target should be just find. Check to see which has the cheapest ink, because if the ink costs more then the printer to replace then it's not worth it. I know they have the refillable ink, but be wary they may be fine, but they may cause problems and void your warranty at the same time.
Good luck
