Fruited Cream Cheeses and Spreads

Here are some more recipes for your tea party menu. These are my recipes that I use all the time for my teas. I hope you enjoy.

Honey Butter

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup honey softened
  • 2 Tbsp. heavy cream

Directions

In small mixer bowl, beat butter at medium speed to soften. Beat in honey until well blended. Gradually beat in cream. Serve at room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for longer storage. Let stand at room temperature 2 hours before serving.

Makes 1 cup.

Raspberry Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 8-oz packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen softened raspberries, thawed
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

Whip cream cheese in food processor or blender until smooth. Add 6 to 8 raspberries (reserve remaining raspberries for garnish). Add sugar. Blend until fluffy and sugar dissolves, scraping down sides often. Spoon into serving bowl and refrigerate overnight.

Makes 4 cups.

Tangerine or Orange Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 8-oz. packages. cream cheese softened
  • grated zest from 2 tangerines or oranges
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

Whip cream cheese in food processor or blender until smooth. Add grated zest and sugar. Blend until fluffy and sugar dissolves, scraping down sides often. Spoon into serving bowl and refrigerate overnight.

Makes 4 cups.
