I purchased a few 20 amp multi-strips. The plugs are different than normal plugs and do not fit into the wall outlet. Is there an adapter I can buy to convert the plug?
Dear Charles The reason 20 amp plugs and outlets are different from 15 amp, is so that you can NOT interchange them and burn your house down. For the same reason, there are no adapters to cross over.
Keep in mind that a 20 Amp breaker will probably not pop, just because your computer catches on fire. It is made to react to malfunctions of stoves, dryers, welders, pumps, etc.
A 20 Amp multi-strip is usually used in pump-houses where a bunch of pumps are plugged into it.
