Keeping Cameras Safe While on Vacation |
|
|
This is about keeping your camera safe on vacation. I was walking down the street in a foreign country and had my camera strap around my wrist and the camera in my hand.
A passerby wished to be obnoxious and slapped the camera out of my hand (while walking away quickly). The camera spun out of my hand, but the wrist strap kept it safe. However, this could happen anywhere, so it's best to rely on the strap rather than on the hand for security at all times.

That is very wise advice! Thanks! I will always do it that way!

I am a professional photographer and this is very good advice. I don't ever walk around with my camera in public unless the strap is wrapped around my wrist.
